The South Sydney Rabbitohs are very prominently known for winning the most Premiership titles in the rugby league in Australia. They are also the most prominent among the rugby tenants for the ANZ stadium in the Sydney Olympic Village.
The team was originally founded in 1908, thus making the club more than hundred years old. They have won the Premierships 21 times and only one title in 2014, since the inception of the National Rugby league in 1998. The team form has not been praise-worthy in the recent years and it has earned the infamous wooden spoon awards 8 times. The most recent ones in 2003, 2004 and 2006. Clive Churchill, player, and coach of the Rabbitohs is perhaps their most decorated player.
