Overview

Woodcroft College, a coeducational K-12 school, was founded in 1989. It is situated at Morphett Vale, a short drive south of the city of Adelaide, near the wine-growing areas of McLaren Vale and the beaches of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
It is a vibrant school community with an enrolment of 1400 students. The school grounds are spacious and beautifully landscaped, and the buildings are modern and fully air-conditioned.

Accredited by the Council of International Schools, Woodcroft College offers a wide range of curriculum, including the International Baccalaureate (IB), the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses.
Students can specialise in the curriculum areas of science, information technology, humanities, languages, hospitality and tourism. On completion of schooling, students enter courses at Adelaide University, Flinders University, and the University of South Australia, as well as universities interstate and overseas.

Intensive English is taught in a specialist area at Woodcroft College. Students take part in a specially designed high school preparation course which includes an orientation to Australian living, general English, English for Mathematics, Science, Information Technology and Humanities, as well as Australian Studies (for SACE accreditation). Students are integrated with local mainstream students for morning Home Group, administration and attendance, for recess and lunch breaks, Pastoral Care, Physical Education, cocurricular activities (including sport) and excursions, social events and school trips.
Woodcroft College offers an excellent, all-round education and encourages students to achieve their potential in a friendly, supportive learning environment.
Students are encouraged to be involved in cultural activities and to participate in the varied sporting opportunities. They can gain an insight into the richness and uniqueness of the Australian environment through interstate, outback and skiing trips.
Students from all cultural backgrounds are welcome. The school is proud of its international focus and exchange and longer term international students are welcomed from many countries. Particular links with Italy, Germany, Japan and China are fostered, as these languages are taught at the school. English, German and Chinese are taught as first languages; English, German, Japanese and Italian are taught as learnt languages.
At Woodcroft College students expect to learn in a caring, safe and disciplined environment. They are supported by the strong focus on pastoral care and the learning needs of individual students.
International students attending Woodcroft College are included in the local community in carefully selected Homestay families.
